libgmlib1 software package provides gnome-mplayer library (shared library), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgmlib1
libgmlib1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgmlib1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgmlib1 *
You will get with libgmlib1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
